A bit of menswear before bed. Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2011 show. A great collection.. this suit has been overlooked by a lot of the other coverage I’ve seen. Beautiful double breasted jacket with what looks like shearling trim on the lapels. I want to see it in person quite badly. The dishevelled styling is great too - the odd button not fastened here, a bit of shirt poking out there.
Note to self. Buy more turtle necks.
Favourite collection of the week so far. Finally, almost as good as their Womenswear. This is my favourite ensemble. This errs on the right side of gaudy retro.
Raf Simons’ Fall 2011 Menswear. The whole collection was beautiful. I want this coat.
